Refund policy

Brightr Sleep – Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review the following return terms to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.


1. Pillows – 30-Day Return Window

You may return pillows within 30 days of the delivery date.
To qualify for a refund:

  • The pillow must be undamaged, not excessively soiled, and returned in its original packaging.

  • We strongly recommend using a pillow protector during your trial period.

  • Customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

2. Pillowcases, Protectors & Accessories

Due to hygiene reasons, pillowcases, protectors, and other accessories are non-returnable unless they:

  • Remain unused, unopened,

  • Are in the original packaging,

  • And are returned within 30 days of delivery.

If the pillowcase is part of a bundle, please refer to the bundle return rules below.


3. Mattress Topper – 100-Night Comfort Trial

We offer a 100-night comfort trial for our mattress topper.

  • We recommend trying it for at least 60 nights so your body can fully adjust.

  • If you are not in love with your Brightr mattress topper, you may return it within 100 nights for a refund.

Return Shipping for Mattress Toppers

  • After 60 nights: Return shipping is free.

  • Before 60 nights: You may still return it, but you are responsible for return shipping costs.

Once return is confirmed, if we don't receive the item back to us in 14 days, we understand that you no longer wish to return the item and your return request will be cancelled.


4. Mattresses – 100-Night Sleep Trial

To allow your body time to adjust, customers must sleep on their mattress for a minimum of 60 nights before initiating a return.
You may return your mattress any time up to 100 nights from the delivery date.

Mattress Return Conditions

  • We will arrange free mattress collection after the 60 days period.

  • Mattresses should be in reasonable condition (no major damage or contamination).

Mattress Order Cancellations After Dispatch

If you cancel your mattress order after it has already shipped, Brightr Sleep reserves the right to deduct a £40 shipping fee from your refund.


5. Initiating a Return

Please submit a return request by completing our online form [here].
Approval typically takes 24–48 hours.

Return & Exchange Limits (Per Address)

To ensure fair use of our trial and return program:

  • Only one (1) return per delivery address/customer is permitted.

  • Only one (1) exchange per delivery address/customer is permitted.

  • Once either limit has been used, additional returns or exchanges from the same address will not be accepted.


6. Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless:

  • The item is defective, damaged, or incorrect,
    or

  • You are returning a mattress topper after 60 nights of use within the 100-night trial.

International Orders (Outside the UK)

All non-UK customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, regardless of the reason.
Please contact care@brightrsleep.com for instructions before returning an item.


7. Product Variations (Colour, Fabric, Texture)

Product images on our website are for visual representation only.
Minor variations in colour, texture, or fabric batch do not qualify as defects and are not eligible for free returns.


8. Customs & Shipping Delays (EU orders)

Shipping delays caused by customs clearance or other factors beyond our control are not considered valid grounds for refunds or free returns.


9. Return Authorization (RA)

Once approved, you’ll receive:

  • A link to generate your Return Authorization (RA) number, and

  • Full return instructions

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or the wrong colour/size, we cover return shipping and will provide a voucher code for the return label.

For all other reasons, the customer covers the return cost.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service.


10. Returns for Damage, Wrong Size or Colour

Items returned due to defect, damage, or incorrect fulfilment must be:

  • In original, unused condition

  • In original packaging

  • Returned within 14 days of receiving your RA number

After inspection, we will issue either a refund or a replacement, based on your preference.


11. Exchanges

Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

  • Items must be securely packaged.

  • Only one exchange per order is allowed.

  • If the exchange item costs more, you pay the difference.

  • If it costs less, you receive the difference as store credit.

UK Orders

We provide free return shipping for exchanges for UK orders only. If order is placed outside of UK, return shipping for exchanges is a responsibility of the customer.
Using an exchange label for a standard “change of mind” return will incur a processing fee.


12. Return Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Bundles & Sale Items

Partial returns of bundles are typically not accepted.
If we approve a partial return, only the difference between:

  • The full product price, and

  • The bundle discount

  • Buy 1 Get 1 Free offers (only one item can not be returned).

will be refunded.

Special Exception

Occasionally, we may send a replacement without requiring the return of the original.
If the replacement is unsatisfactory, both items must be returned for a refund.
This exception applies only once per order.


13. Exchange Processing

Once your exchange is received and inspected, we will process your replacement and issue a new order number.
Processing times may vary depending on stock.


14. Refund Processing

After receiving and inspecting your return, refunds are issued to your original payment method.
Please allow 14–21 days for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.


15. Cancellations

If you need to cancel, contact care@brightrsleep.com immediately.Once an order has been processed or dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.
If the order has already shipped, the £40 delivery fee may be deducted (mattresses).


16. Refurbished Products

Refurbished products may be returned within 14 days only if:

  • Unopened

  • Unused

  • In original packaging

  • You provide a valid proof of purchase

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.


17. Policy Updates

Brightr Sleep reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
Changes take effect immediately once posted to our website.
