Brightr Sleep Mattress Topper – 5 Year Limited Warranty

Effective Date: January 2026


  1. Warranty Overview

1.1 This Limited Warranty applies exclusively to new Brightr Sleep Mattress Toppers purchased directly from Brightr Sleep or an authorised UK retailer within the United Kingdom. It does not apply to refurbished, clearance, ex-display, or second-hand products.

1.2 This Warranty is valid for five (5) years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

1.3 This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser named on the original order confirmation. If ownership of the topper changes, this Warranty becomes void.

1.4 This Warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.


  1. What Is Covered

Subject to Section 3, this Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, including:

2.1 Visible and measurable body impressions exceeding the following tolerances when placed on a flat, suitable surface:

2.2 Structural failure of foam layers, including splitting or cracking not caused by misuse.

2.3 Manufacturing faults affecting functional components such as zips.

2.4 Manufacturing defects in the outer cover (cover defects are covered for one (1) year only and may result in cover replacement only).

Brightr Sleep reserves the right to determine whether a defect qualifies under this Warranty.


  1. What Is Not Covered

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Natural softening of foam over time

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Comfort preference changes

  • Accidental damage, misuse, neglect or improper care

  • Stains, soiling, liquid damage or unsanitary returns

  • Use without appropriate bed linen

  • Use on an unsuitable or unsupported mattress

  • Failure to rotate head-to-toe monthly for the first 3 months and every 3 months thereafter

  • Commercial or non-domestic use

  • Any unauthorised repair, alteration or modification


  1. Making a Claim

4.1 Claims must be made within 30 days of discovering the issue.

4.2 Claims must be submitted to hello@brightrsleep.com and include:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Clear photographs of the defect

  • Photos showing the topper on a flat surface without bedding

  • A description of the issue

4.3 Brightr Sleep may request additional evidence. Failure to provide requested information may result in rejection of the claim.


  1. Warranty

5.1 This Warranty provides for product exchange only. Refunds are not available under this Warranty.

5.2 Years 0–2 (First 24 Months)
If a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed within the first two (2) years from delivery, Brightr Sleep will repair or replace the topper free of charge with the same model or the closest comparable model available at the time. Delivery of the replacement within this period will be free of charge within mainland UK.

5.3 Years 3–5 (Pro-Rata Exchange)
If a valid defect is confirmed after the first two years and within five years of delivery, a repair of the topper or replacement topper will be offered on a pro-rata basis. The original purchase value will be credited against the cost of a new topper, based on the schedule below.

The customer will be responsible for paying the difference between the credited value and the current retail price of the replacement topper.

Year 1: 100% of original purchase price
Year 2: 100% of original purchase price
Year 3: 60% of original purchase price
Year 4: 40% of original purchase price
Year 5: 20% of original purchase price

Example:
If the original topper was purchased for £200 and a claim is approved in Year 4, a credit of 40% (£80) will be applied toward a new topper. The customer would pay the remaining balance based on the current retail price.

5.4 The Warranty period does not restart with a replacement product. The replacement will remain covered only for the remainder of the original five-year term.

5.5 Brightr Sleep may require return of the original topper before dispatching a replacement.


  1. General

6.1 This Warranty applies only within the United Kingdom.

6.2 The topper must be used for its intended purpose as a mattress topper for sleeping.

6.3 Brightr Sleep reserves the right to amend these terms. The version in effect at the time of purchase will apply.

 

Brightr Sleep Mattresses – 10 Year Limited Warranty

Effective Date: January 2026


  1. Warranty Overview

1.1 This 10 Year Limited Warranty applies to new Brightr Sleep mattresses purchased directly from Brightr Sleep or through an authorised UK retailer within the United Kingdom. It does not apply to refurbished, ex-display, clearance, or second-hand mattresses.

1.2 This Warranty is valid for ten (10) years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

1.3 This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original end-user purchaser named on the order confirmation.

1.4 This Warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer protection legislation. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your statutory rights.


  1. What This Warranty Covers

Subject to Section 3, this Warranty covers verified manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, including:

2.1 Permanent and visible body impressions that exceed the allowable tolerances below, measured when the mattress is placed on a flat, suitable base without bedding:

Indentations within these measurements are considered normal material settlement and are not classified as defects.

2.2 Structural failure of foam layers or internal components not resulting from misuse or external damage.

2.3 Manufacturing defects affecting the integrity of the mattress cover (cover defects are covered for one (1) year from delivery and may result in cover replacement only).

2.4 Faults in integrated components such as zips (where applicable).

Brightr Sleep reserves the right to determine whether a reported issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect under this Warranty.


  1. What Is Not Covered

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Natural softening or gradual loss of firmness over time

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Comfort preference changes

  • Stains, spills, liquid damage or unsanitary conditions

  • Accidental damage or misuse

  • Use without a mattress protector and appropriate bedding

  • Use on an unsuitable or unsupported base

A suitable base must be structurally sound, level, and appropriately sized. Slatted bases must have slats no more than 7.5cm (3 inches) apart. Prolonged use directly on the floor is not recommended due to restricted ventilation.

  • Failure to rotate the mattress head-to-toe monthly for the first three (3) months and at least every three (3) months thereafter

  • Commercial, rental, or non-domestic use unless agreed in writing

  • Unauthorised repairs, alterations, or internal access


  1. Making a Claim

4.1 Claims must be submitted within 30 days of discovering the issue.

4.2 Claims should be emailed to hello@brightrsleep.com and must include:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Clear photographs of the mattress on a flat base without bedding

  • Close-up images showing the indentation measurement

  • A description of the issue

4.3 Brightr Sleep may request further evidence or arrange an inspection. Failure to cooperate with reasonable assessment requests may result in the claim being declined.


  1. Repair or Replacement (Pro-Rata After Year 3)

5.1 This Warranty provides for repair or replacement only. Refunds are not available under this Warranty.

5.2 Years 0–3
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed within the first three (3) years, Brightr Sleep will repair or replace the mattress free of charge with the same or closest comparable model. Standard mainland UK delivery will be included.

5.3 Years 4–10 (Pro-Rata Contribution Applies)
If a defect is confirmed after Year 3 and within the 10-year Warranty period, a pro-rata credit based on the original purchase price will be applied toward a replacement mattress. The customer will be responsible for paying the remaining balance based on the current retail price.
